On its March 26, 2019 General Membership Meeting, PLIA invited subject matter experts on the government’s Public-Private Partnership programs to provide its members with first hand knowledge about the PPP framework. With the recent issuance by the Insurance Commission of Circular Letter No. 2018-74 titled “Guidelines for Investments in the Infrastructure Projects under Philippine Development Plan (PDP)”.these programs may provide opportunities to the industry for alternative investment options where a better asset-liability duration match may be achieved because of their long-term nature.
