The Philippine Life Insurance Association, Inc. (PLIA) and the Philippine Insurers and Reinsurers Association, Inc. (PIRA) jointly sponsored the holding on May 21, 2014 of a  road show by the ASEAN Insurance Council, an organization composed of the life and general insurance  associations of the ten ASEAN countries as members, on the subject “2015 ASEAN Economic Community Integration Plan”.

A guest from the ASEAN Secretariat, Mr. Bambang Irawan, Assistant Director, Finance Integration Division, presented details of the history, current status and next steps pertaining to the ASEAN Economic Community integration plan.
